Jamie Harris has inhabited a wide range of characters in a career that has taken him from stage to screen. Jamie made his theatrical stateside debut in Patrick Marber’s Dealer’s Choice at Manhattan Theatre Club, where he won a Drama League award for his performance. Other notable theatre include: Some Voices and The Comedians (The New Group); Rawboys (The Wilma) where he was nominated for the Barrymore Award; Rules of Seconds (The Temblors) opposite Amy Brenneman. Jamie has performed in over forty movies and worked with many top directors including: The Name of the Father opposite Daniel Day Lewis, The New World, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, Made, The Prestige, Fast Food, Fast Women nominated for the Palm d’Or in the Cannes Film Festival in 2000, The Next Big Thing, and I Believe in America. He won the Best Actor Award for Speed for Thespians at the New York Film Festival in 2002. Other film work includes: Knight of Cups, The Green Hornet, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and The Gambler. He will next be seen in The Jade Pendant, a Chinese co-production directed by Po Chih Leong. His TV show credits include: Shameless, Take Two, The Magicians, Castle, CSI Miami, NCIS LA, Life, CSI, No Ordinary Family pilot, White Collar, The Mentalist, NCIS: LA, American Horror Story, Magic City, Will Robeson in the AMC series Turn, Terry in the DirecTV series The Kingdom, and No Eyed Gordon on Marvel’s Agents of the S.H.E.I.L.D. Jamie will next be seen in Amazon’s Carnival Row in the recurring role of Desk Sergeant Dombey and guest starring in Lovecraft Country. Jamie currently resides in LA, and enjoys working both in the US and Europe. He also just completed writing his first screenplay, Down Dog.
