Janellen Steininger is an actress, as well as a teaching artist for Arts Education Outreach, and an acting teacher for the Academy at Antaeus Theatre Company, Los Angeles' premiere classical theatre ensemble, where she is also a founding member. Theatre credits include The Wood Demon (Mark Taper Forum); Picnic, Mother Courage, You Can’t Take It With You, Of Mice and Men, and Phaedra at the Getty Villa (Antaeus Theatre); and Juno and the Paycock (Odyssey Theatre). She has also performed extensively at East West Players, Evidence Room, Theatre Asylum, and Old Globe, Fountain, and 24th Street Theatres.
Television credits include Raising Hope, Sleeper Cell, Strong Medicine, General Hospital, and Roseanne.
Film credits include Harmony and Wavelength.
As a voice-over artist, she has extensive credits in commercials, animation, video games, audiobooks, and narration. She performs ADR in German and English, and translates from German to English for theatre, opera, film, and television.
