Lucy Prebble is a British playwright. She is the author of the plays, her Broadway debut, the critically-acclaimed, Enron, which won Best New Play at the TMA Theatre Awards (Broadhurst Theatre), The Effect, Critic's Circle Award-winner for Best New Play (National Theatre), The Sugar Syndrome, winning the George Devine and TMA Awards for Best New Play (Jerwood Theatre). For her first one act play, Liquid, Prebble received the PMA Most Promising Playwright Award. She also won the Critics’ Circle Award for Most Promising Playwright.
Prebble created the British television series, ITV's Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, which was later sold to the American network, Showtime.
