Richard Dreyfuss is an American film, television and theatre actor, best known for Mr. Holland's Opus, American Graffiti, Jaws, Zipper, Cas & Dylan, RED, Piranha 3D and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Richard received Academy, Golden Globe, and BAFTA Awards as Elliot Garfield in The Goodbye Girl. He is a Hollywood Films’ Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and was awarded a Star on the Walk of Fame by the Motion Picture Association.

Television credits include his Saturn Award-winning role, Warren Schiff, on Showtime’s Weeds, Louis on TBS’ Your Family or Mine, Gilliam T. Blount on NBC’s Parenthood and Max Bickford on CBS’ The Education of Max Bickford.

Broadway credits include his debut as Stanley in But, Seriously... (Henry Miller’s Theatre); Foxwell J. Sly ‘The Judge’ in Sly Fox (Ethel Barrymore Theatre); Gerardo Escobar in Death and the Maiden (Brooks Atkinson Theatre); and Lenny Keller in Total Abandon (Booth Theatre).
