Peter Wylde has been an acting teacher for thirty years. He taught at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal from 1980 to 2000, George Brown Theatre School from 1986 to 1999, the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre at the Stratford Festival of Canada for two years, and Ryerson Theatre School from 2000 to 2010. He has educated generations of Canadian actors. His graduates are legion, and he has only to go to the Stratford or Shaw Festivals, SummerWorks or the Toronto Fringe to see entire stages populated by his former students. They keep him poor, as he chases them about to see as much of their work as he possibly can. Their success is his reward.
