He has won numerous awards including the Laurie Foundation Award Best New Play for While We Were Bowling; Cincinnati Playhouse Rosenthal New Play Prizes for Men on the Take and An Asian Jockey In Our Midst; Mildred and Albert Panowski New Play and Charlotte Repertory Theatre New Play Prizes for The One-Eyed Man is King; Beverly Hills Theatre/Julie Harris Playwriting Award for Golf With Alan Shepard; and New Dramatist, Arnold Weissberger Playwriting Award for Soft Click of a Switch.
